For HR and team psychologists

See how your teams really connect.

Ask who people turn to for help, map it, and spot the people everyone relies on and the people left out. Add a short team survey and your meeting notes.

Three tools to start with

Each one works like a document you open and keep in a folder, so a class, a client or a study has everything in one place.

Sociogram

Who chooses whom in a group. Diagram, data, analysis and notes in one file, with a PDF report.

For you: Who people go to for help, and who carries too much.

Questionnaire

Write your own questions, import the answers from Excel, and get totals, averages and a chart per question.

For you: A short team pulse survey, scored for you.

Notes

Dated notes from simple templates: observation, meeting, parent or client conversation, or blank.

For you: Notes from team meetings and one-to-ones.

How it works

Step 1

Make a workspace per team

Keep names hidden with anonymity before you share results.

Step 2

Import the answers

Collect the answers with any online form, then upload the spreadsheet it gives you.

Step 3

Share the picture

Export a PDF of the network and the survey results.

A sociogram in minutes, not an evening

Import the answers and the diagram draws itself: who is chosen most, who is not chosen, which choices are mutual. Split it into girls and boys, put each group on the side you want, and pick a shape for each.

  • Positive and negative questions, up to three ranked choices
  • Stars, isolates, rejected and mutual pairs, listed for you
  • The PDF shows the diagram exactly as you see it on screen

Names out of sight with one switch

Anonymity mode replaces every name with a number everywhere: on screen, in tables and charts, and in printed reports. Turn it on for a whole class or study, or just before you share your screen in a meeting.

Try it on the example on the right.

Questions

What does my Excel file need to look like?

One row per person and one column per question. Each file type gives you a template to download, so you can fill it in or copy your answers into it.

Where is my data stored?

On your own computer, inside the browser you use psy-tools in. Nothing about the people you work with is sent to us or to anyone else. Because of that, the data is only on that computer: download a backup of each workspace now and then, and use it to move to another computer.

Can people answer on a tablet?

Not yet. For now you collect answers on paper or in a form and import them from Excel. Answering on a tablet is next on the list.

Is it in my language?

psy-tools is in English and Russian. You can switch at any time in Settings.
